PROJECT NAME
City of Gold Coast Pedestrian Wayfinding System
LOCATION
Gold Coast, QLD, Australia
Gold Coast is a city in the south-east corner of Queensland Australia with half a million people. As a major tourist destination and host of many local, state, national and international events it welcomes about 12 million visitors a year.
The signage system was developed to guide pedestrians and cyclists through inland and coastal centres, between the centres and along the coastal strip stretching 57 kilometres from south to north.
The signage system was designed to provide a platform for integrated event signage and when fully and properly implemented it will communicate a City of Gold Coast-wide civic understanding of brand, connectivity and amenity.
