The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is the vocational education and training provider in Canberra, Australia and has a student population of over 25,000.

The sites were audited and the institute’s project aspirations were developed into a strategy together with an institute-wide nomenclature. The logo was compared with tertiary institutions and amended to appear more contemporary. Existing were incorporated into a generic naming convention under the umbrella of the main brand in view of a competitive provider environment.

A sign family and maps for four campuses were created with the purpose for self-navigation with a single recognisable design for freestanding and wall mounted signs. The family consists of two sizes for freestanding signs and one size for wall mounted signs.
